Balkrishna
Artist
For as long as I remember, I loved to draw. In 9th Grade, I received an award for my artwork from Waheeda Rehman, a great Indian classical dancer and film actress. I was unable to pursue my love of art as times were hard in those days, and working for livelihood took precedence over art. Over the years, I traveled a few places and captured the beauty through photography, instead. After I retired, I took up painting to fulfill my passion. Since then, I found my life more meaningful and satisfying.
I paint for my own pleasure and to satisfy my soul. Beauty appeals to me in all the things beautiful. I fall in love with any subject or object which appeals to me. And I feel, a thing of beauty is a joy forever and art flows from the heart!
I exhibited my paintings at:
12th Annual Fine Arts Festival, East Brunswick, NJ, USA, on June 7, 2014.
